Cloe wandered the city streets pondering where to looks for Ved. Where could he have gone? She turned down an alley that they had kissed in once. She looked around but then, heard something. Ved pushed his way through the city making great progress in getting back to the Mall. He tried hard not to bump into people, but he did bump into a few. Nearly there... He rounded a corner and almost knocked over a virt who seemed to be looking for something. "Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there...Cloe?" He put down his box of stuff. "What are you doing out here? Did you lose your cat?" That's a dumb question... "Oh, yeah, you're looking for me..."

Cloe wasn't giving up. She needed to find him. She looked down the other end of the alley, when suddenly, she was hit, by something and feel to the ground. Without looking she quickly stood up and then, her eyes met his. "Ved." She said in a hopeful voice. She had found him. She hugged him tightly, holding back tears. "Oh Ved. You're okay. I'm so sorry." She clung to him, the fear of thinking she'd never see him again was washed away by the flood of tears. "I'm sorry. I love you."

"It's okay," Ved managed to get out of Cloe's hold. He fixed his banages and picked up his box of stuff. Ved began walking back to the Mall. "So, how's things at the Mall?"

Cloe wiped the tears and followed him. She almost felt like he was avoiding her. "Boring... Tribe leader vote was today. Sal made fruit for breakfast and I bet there is still some soup left over. I didn't have any, but, I smelled it." She knew Ved would be angry that she wasn't eating. "I missed you and was really worried. I had a nice chat with Amber, on well, girl stuff." She couldn't bring herself to tell him. She yawned and rested her head on Ved's shoulder as they walked. "Can we take a short break Ved?"
