Cloe and Ved's room: Morning

Cloe had slept peacefully in Ved's arms, happy that he hadn't been too upset about the night before. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times, trying to focus her eyes. She rolled over slowly and loved at Ved, Tracing his chest as he slept soundly. She kissed him gently. "Good morning

After the initial shock of bedtime, Ved had relaxed against the warm feeling of Cloe's body and drifted off to sleep. His dreams had been a bit tortured, frustrating dreams where he was a Techno again, and every time he tried to chase down a virt, they had a TGun and would turn and shoot at him. "Stinkin virts," he mumbled as someone touched his chest, and in his half dream state he looked down to see a virt trying to take his uniform. "Stop," he pushed the hand away and woke up, looking around, confused

Cloe was slightly taken back as he pushed her hand away. Was he upset about last night? As he opened his eyes, looking rather confused, Cloe understood that it must have just been a dream. She made a questioning look. Did he not remember? Maybe it was best not to bring it up then. If he didn't want to talk about it, than neither did she.

She shrugged. "Probably just hanging around. I need to talk to Salene about....something" She gave him a smile. "And you? Maybe we can go for a walk?"

"Yeah yeah, sounds, great," it came out forced, hard to say, he was having a hard time sounding enthusiastic about anything Cloe said, what if she changed her mind later? "I'm gonna work on my lab, check on things. I heard there's gonna be a trial today since they caught that stinkin virt kid, so maybe I'll check that out too, think they'd mind if we watched?"

Ved shifted his position, rolling onto his side, facing Cloe, she was really pretty, he couldn't stay mad for long, and his eyes trailed down to the gown she was wearing, looking at how it sat slightly askew on her chest. His right hand folded between them and fiddled with the edging, his left arm wrapping around her in a hug, saying nothing.

Ved didn't sound happy, and Cloe felt really bad. She had ruined everything. Things were going so well and she had to have things her way. She sighed. "Oh ya, the trial. They should, I mean, we've had them before. I was on the jury for one." She remembered. It was about Bray and whether or not was stealing all the water.

Cloe smiled as Ved shifted and began to play with her shirt. Part of her wanted to take it right off, to make up for the night before. She felt so safe with him. His arm wrapped around her. This was surely the best thing.

Brady came bouncing down the hallway from Auntie Salene's room, leaving Mouse behind, it wasn't far away to Cloe's room, and Brady was allowed anywhere on this floor alone, well, most rooms anyway. She didn't even pause at the door, she just popped in through the curtain, "Cloooooooooeeeee," she sang out, rounding the doorway and bounding towards the bed. All she could see was that Ved's back, but she didn't care, and she took less of a flying leap at this bed than she had at Ryan and Salene's, it was lower.

Climbing in between them, Brady smiled sweetly and lay down on her back after a bit of shifting, "Morning," she told them brightly. "It's cuddles, for the morning, cause I went to see Salene and she said there was time for cuddles, so I came to cuddle you," her big blue doe eyes turned on Ved, blinking slowly. "Ok? Ved? Ok?"

Her reassurance did little to actually reassure him, a dark look had passed across her eyes, she was lying to him, or maybe hiding something, but what? Was she secretly mad at him for asking the way he had? "Ahh come on Clo, I didn't mean it in a bad way, I'm just cranky is all," he was trying to cover up for what he'd done, he was trying to make it right. She looked so sad, even with her eyes closed, how could he not worry about it?

He had little time to think about it, to consider his options of what to say now, how to fix this mess he was quickly stirring into more mess, as a little Brady came flying across the room like some kind of animal in an old cartoon. She practically landed between them with a thud and burrowed her way in between them, forcing Ved to move away. He recoiled as if a rattlesnake had jumped into the bed with them, a horrified look on his face as she began to explain that morning was "cuddles" time. Wait, no she was not asking him for permission to cuddle him, he didn't even know what that meant. "Uhh," he

Cloe just shrugged. "I know, I know you didn't mean it in a bad way. I just....it's nothing." She looked away for a second and then back to him, giving him a warm smile.

As Brady came bounding into the room, she could not contain the giant smile on her face as she jumped across the bed and snuggled down between her and Ved. Well, it was a good thing they both were dressed! She smiled as she explained that it was time for cuddles. She looked briefly to Ved and couldn't help but playfully roll her eyes as he looked like he was about to gag. She nodded. "Yes Brady, you can cuddle with us." She tickled her a bit and smiled. "Did you sleep well?"

Brady just looked at Ved with her best big, blue, sweet innocent eyes, adding in a tiny little smile. Cloe gave her permission though and Brady cheered, "YAAAAAAY!" Rolling over onto her side, she faced Cloe and wrapped her little arms across Cloe's middle, hugging up to her tightly. She simply nodded in response to Cloe's question, she had slept just fine, "Daisy isn't in my bed," she told her quietly. It was true, yesterday the kitten had been in her bed after her nap, but not this morning, she hadn't seen her at all. "Is she in here?" Brady sat up a little to crane her neck and look around the bed, "Kiiitty!! Kitty!" she called, looking but quickly giving up. "I like your kitty Cloe, she's mine now too," she informed her, snuggling back up to her. "I'm gonna miss her, I can't have her at the Eco's cause she'll get hurt," she explained a bit wistfully.
