Oddly, I'm like that with Roswell only. When I took the test, I had H/D on my mind. But in terms of Roswell, I stick with my true OTP, Max and Liz. Though I'm not impartial to Zan/Liz. Technically, it's just an angrier, more bad boy Max Evans. XD

most likely i could be more tolerant to UC when it's about other shows LOL but since i only want to read roswell (i used to read some mangas like Marmalade Boy) i will never know xD

the thing with roswell is that the main relationships are way too important for the story and for the characters. If you change them you change the characters and the story. It's not roswell anymore.
It speaks volumes that the few uc fanfictions i've tried to read are just a copy of the canon couples but with different names
so you have a Max that is called "Michael", a Liz that is called "Tess" and so on. Basically many UC ff involving Max or Liz are just dreamer fanfictions with different names.
I don't even like when people ruin the friendships.
