Ok guys...I have an essay to write for which one of my sources has to be an interview, survey, or observation and I figured this would be the easiest and most time-effective way to get a variety of responses. The essay is on the "American dream" and if you guys could take a few minutes and help me out I'll love you forever =D Even if you don't live

I'm not much help for your essay, so I'm commenting here about it instead of on your journal. :P

I'm surprised at the topic of the essay, and think that 'America' is so self-absorbed. The apparent 'dream' seems to be what EVERYONE.. no matter where they live, want in life.

If the 'American Dream' is to be successful in key areas (work, family, etc.) .. what makes that specifically American? I'm pretty sure it's the dream of most Englishmen.. Australians.. Chinese, etc. :P
