The best concert I've ever been to would have to be Teddy Geiger on 9.24, or Citizen Cope on 4/1/07. Coincidentally, they were both at the same venue (which may be some of the bias cause it's my favorite venue) but Teddy was just amazing cause he played practically all new material & I got to sit on the stage for the whole show haha and the stage is so small, so it's like I was right on him lmao. Citizen Cope was amazing just because it's Citizen Cope! Jammin' Java holds like 200/250 people and when I saw him back in November it was in a venue that held at least 1,000 so needless to say it was intimate. Then I got to meet him after, which made my life hahaha.
The furthest I've traveled is 3 hours and that was to see Teddy in Allentown, PA (big mistake, too). I saw Teddy in NYC in December, too, but I was already up there for a little vacation so that doesn't count! hahaha.
And I haven't ever seen McFLY, who is probably #1 on my "to see" list. Then Lily Allen & Amy Winehouse, I'd love to see them.
the top of my list is honestly My Chemical Romance. they're live show is insanely energetic and they put on a fantastic show for their fans. i honestly feel like every show of theirs i've been to (which is 4 at this point) they are all about their fans...they pour their hearts and souls into each and every song and the crowd is always insane! plus it doesn't hurt that they profess their love to chicago everytime they come to us :)
the farthest i've ever traveled was probably an hour. i live right outside of chicago so when bands go on tour they usually don't skip us...plus we have lollapalooza :D
the bands on my need to see list include- paramore (with luck i'm going to see them next month!),green day, panic! at the disco,AFI,the almost, the postal service...the list continues on and on...
1) easy, LA Invasion a the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. I saw the pumpkins, foo fighters, and perry farrell...pretty much the bands that made up my childhood. it was a 10 hour long day in the sun by myself, my feet were killing me, i didnt go to the bathroom because i was about 5 people from the front so i pissed my pants instead and if i had the chance i'd do it all over again. sadly i have no pics of any of the bands that actually had what i consider to be of lasting quality because by then my camera phone had died, only pics of paramore, hiot hot heat and other equally uninspiring bands. 2) Portland Oregon for the Screaming is For Babies tour (cartel, starting line, etc.) 2ish years ago because i was on the guest list, got in a life threatening car wreck on the way home but still before then it was fun but to be honest if i had to get in that wreck again i probably wouldnt make the same decision, lol 3) easy...Queen (with Freddie) and Blink-182...Tyler Read as well but theyre coming here at the end of October so I'm pumped
The best concert I've ever been to was The Horrors. I followed them on their last American tour. First of all, all of them are INCREDIBLY nice guys-since we followed them, we got to talk to them a lot. Second, their live shows are incredible. I'm pretty sure there's nothing the lead singer WON'T do. He started the mosh pits, climbed on the ceiling, and did so much more (there's video of him climbing balconies, throwing trash cans into the audience, etc.). It was so intense and amazing (plus all of the venues we saw them at held like 100 people max

The last concert I was at was Shiny Toy Guns, and then another date a few days before was Mute Math and Pilot Speed (Pilate). Soon I'll see Eric Prydz (next week!) and a handful of bands I'll mention later on
