It rained so much that the seven hills became seven seas.
I am so hopeless with children. I like them in concept and all...but I cannot spend over two hours with them, especially if they are four and six and neither of them happen to have appetites and zoom around our table while our families make like Chinese and talk incessantly. They were so cute, though. But I still had to get my dad to lie and say that I had to go do my homework when they all came over after dinner at the restaurant.
