The Senate, following the House of Representatives repealed the 17-year old "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law. I am so happy. This was long overdue. Huzzah!!!

I know... thank goodness, it's about time. I mean, just because you are lesbian or gay or let's not forget those invisible bisexuals it doesn't mean you are not subject to following the rules of conduct. It also seems silly to waste all of that potential for good people who want to serve their country.

I want people to acknowledge that is was worse before Clinton started DADT 17 years ago. It is only fair to do that...
