So my Dad and I have been working out the kinks of this for about three weeks now, yesterday he surprised my Mom and drove her down south to spend the week on a cruise in the bahamas. So, rocks for them. It's their 20th (?) anniversary tomorrow. Awesome. That's a long time ( Read more... )

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...WAS amazing! I hated the original but this one was splendid.

Ok that TOTALLY ROCKS that your parents could go on a cuise. They deserve it! Good with school, work, and such, I know that is hard to do while schedules are thrown out of wack. but you can do it, I have faith in you.
And yes Charlie and the chocolate factory was good, very weird, but funny. funny, yes. Have a wonderful one, SMILE :)

I know I was really happy for them. They haven't had a real "vacation" (read: no kids) in a WHILE. My mom's been stressed out and sleep deprived for at least the past year, and my Dad with the whole job change and whatnot... not to mention all the work they put into staying married for 20 years.
