Archery

I've come to the conclusion that I am perhaps the worst archer (marksman) in the world. I managed to get 4 arrows onto the target board, but that's 4 arrows out of 25 or so tries. One arrow actually hit the bull's eye, but that was a major fluke because ... well, just look at my statistics. As well, the times when the teacher was looking and it ( Read more... )

You get to do archery at your school?! Lucky devil. :P At least you didn't accidently shoot anyone... now that would have been bad. :D

I can assure you that you British Columbians are much less wussy than us over here in England. At the first touch of snow the country grinds to a halt and the news is filled up with stories of the "terrible weather conditions". ;)

I love archery! My friends and I went to a place not far from where we live, a few months ago. It was neat, and we ended up shooting the fake animals at the end. Lol, it was interesting.
But yea, I give lots of cookies to Lego and all those other cool elves. (Not to mention the actors who had to learn how to shoot so well. It starts to hurt after you've been shooting a while. Especially w/o arm guards.)

Down here in Florida, when it gets below 60 everyone goes nuts. Unfortunetly it only gets into the 30's in the middle of the night and the closet thing to snow we get is ice on the cars. But that melts away was soon as the sun rises. Oh, what I'd give for a snow day. (We're supposed to have "hurricane days" but it's such a rare occasion that one comes, it's no fun. I say it was just an excuse for them to add days onto the school year. ^_^)
