So I'm back at Blush once again for yet another new club night. The difference this time? I had a blast! I was sleepy cuz I worked at the greenhouse from 9-2pm then had to be at Blush for 8pm-4am but some new silly staff members, an awesome crowd, great music and good tippers kept me vibrant through the night. :) it was a mix of all kinds of stuff. I wasn't really impressed with the set but I wasn't disappointed either. Lots of classics.. old reggae, some r&b and dance tunes, a little bit of classic house (those tunes were awesome). Generally I would have liked to hear some newer stuff but the crowd was still diggin' what she was spinning. If you check out the website I listed above and see the event for Friday at Blush.. or even just look at the Dj section.. the girl who did our night is Dj Si Vu Play or something close to that :)

You have the looks and the knowledge of the fantastic music out there

Isn't there a pretty big IDM scene there?

That's what I always wanted to do. I even have a quote written in my highschool year book. I've sort of changed my ideas about what I'd want exactly and to what degree I want to be involved but I think I'd always be happy if I had a job working with music.

Tomorrow night a guy is coming over (friend of co-worker at Blush) because he wants to open a new music store downtown and he wants my knowledge since I worked at HMV for a long time. I told him I would help but I wanted to make sure that I could have some involvment if he does in fact open it. So maybe that'll lead me somewhere cool :)
