AHHHHHHH!!!! THE HAT!!!!! It's far more stylish than the more traditional and boring white cowboy hats out here. You look way to cute in it. The resemblance is a little freaky, your noses and mouths (pretty much the whole bottom half of your faces) are identical!
I KNOW!! it's crazy how much I look like her in this pic! As for the hat, my new black one is a much "neater" one- it has finished edges and has a more solid shape. I'll post the pic with me and my bro so you can see the side of this one.. (it's not nearly as up close though) I'll just update this post with the new pic... :) Besides, then you get to see one of my favourite boats. :)
Ok. First, not at all what I pictured your brother looking like. Not even close.
Second, dear sweet cthulhu those boats are HUGE!!!! I had no idea how big they were. Those engines are bigger than you for crying out loud. That's so awesome, they must sound like planes. Kinda wishing I was in ON so I could see them in action too.
And yeah.. the boats are super huge and the sound can shake your very soul. I'm so excited to be going to Michigan next weekend (yes, the plans have been confirmed!!! )
I don't know...I guess I expected him to be less tattooed and more khaki wearing???
That's awesome that you are going to Michigan, I'm sure you'll have a really great time. What city are you going to/staying in? Or are you just driving down for the day kinda thing?
hehe.. yeah Greg's back and shoulders are covered in tribal tattoos. I think his shorts in that pic are about the closest he's ever come to being a khaki wearer :)
The races are being held in St. Clair Michigan. The plan was to go down early Saturday morning ( I may just leave straight from work the night before since I'll probably be there until 4/5am anyway) then set up camp at a hotel and maybe see a little of what's going on Saturday. Since the races are only on Sunday though, we may just hang out Saturday and do all the boat stuff Sunday. As for where we're staying.. the closest hotel we could get to Michigan is in CANADA!!! We didn't realize how big the event is there and they told us that if we wanted to be in the city, we would have had to have booked all the way back in March! I'm so excited, it sounds like there are some huge fans out there :)
