How much do hair extensions usually cost??

I had a consultation, but the kind of hair they used would cost me 1800 for what i want done.

Is there cheaper kinds????? =]

the cheapest GOOD hair extensions i have ever heard were still around $400-600, and its a lock-in weave,, they use a little warmer and buckle/glue it to your hair at the base with this,, gunky hard plastic goops,, but then it hardens,, and its dry,, and usualy clear.
