(no subject)
Hi there!
I'm a new member, but i've been a lurker here for about two years, hehe *-_-*... So, i finally came out of the closet and post some pics :P
I recently got some Special Effects for a reasonable price (i live in Mexico), and i have to say that it's WONDERFUL!!
I LOVE Special Effects!! It's so bright and vibrant... altough it stains everything, i'm extremely happy with the results!
This was my hair about a year ago:
Black (my natural color) with purple and pink streaks that faded almost completely after two weeks, bah...
Black with sort-of burgundy on it... i had this hair for about two or three months... kinda pretty... but i wanted something MORE COLORFUL...
Then I met Special Effects - Cherry Bomb!!
Freshly dyed:
(excuse the "i'm on drugs" look on my face)
I remember i was almost in shock when i saw how it came out... so f*cking bright! XD My mom told me i had "little mermaid's hair", hehe... i think that was a very close description of how it looked... :P
I love this picture (despite my stupid-looking face) because it shows pretty well how the color looked under natural light:
Second week (happy happy!!):
Note: This pic is from the second week after the first time i dyed it (my roots are showing), for some reason i couldn't find my pics from the first time i dyed my hair with SFX :(
Third week:
I loved the fact that the color does not fade, but gets brighter with every wash!
Fourth week:
This color looks almost neon under sunlight...
Fifth week:
Faded nicely, but thanks to my crappy initial bleaching (it wasn't very even) i got parts that faded orange and parts that faded to pale pink.
Now i just re-dyed again... it's the third time now and i still have some hair dye in the bottle! hehe ^_^
