Its been a long time since I've been an active dancer, but I'm starting to get back into it since my college has a very active dance team. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some stretches? Hi,

A great resource for stretches is:
Alter, M. J. (1998) Sport Stretch: 311 Stretches for 41 Sports (2nd ed.). Champaign, IL: Human Kinetics

Foot undies are nice to protect your feet if you're not used to dancing barefoot, but in the long run you should get used to bare feet.

Thanks for the book suggestion! I'll look into it. As for the foot undies, the captains of our team said we should wear them for sanitary purposes since socks are too slippery... but I don't see how these help either, because they're just under your toes.

the foot undies help because when you're turning or jumping, you're on the balls of your feet. So that's all they really need to cover. The rest is just to hold them in place.
yes, socks are too slippery - the only ankle injuries in my dance studio were people wearing socks.
