Ant Population Explosion

Ant problem is much worse this year. I've been trying a little of everything. Mrs. Meyers lavendar countertop spray for quick zapping, though I'm told Windex also works well for this; those little bait discs; Raid. I like the Chinese chalk, but it's hard to find because it's hazardous (duh) for kids and pets. Porn and drugs? Available anywhere.

Tried some commercial baits that turned out to be useless. The ants showed no interest whatsoever. Local stores are selling out of all ant stuff, even the things that don't work. It's a particularly bad year.

Thinking about using a dilute Dr. Bronner's spray on the lemon tree right outside our door to cut down on the aphids supporting the ant population.

We had a few days when the ants were winning. RIght now we're ahead.
