Ha- the dictonary of any common used phrases is always fun. I love walking around in Italy and having tourists come up and asking me something in Italian out of dictionary. They are always very relieved when I reply in English. One youn woman began crying and threw her arms around me. I don't think she traveled much

It's more appealing than the notion that she travelled too much, isn't it, Mr. Firth?

You raise a very good point. Please, don't call me Mr. Firth though, I beg you. Makes me sound terribly old.

If we were in Spain or Mexico, I'd be a lot more helpful. Unforunately...

And I think you'd better learn how to avoid burning water before you move on to konditorei chef.

Miranda, I thought you had forgotten the burning water incident. It didn't burn that badly, did it?

You took all but one of my hats, remember? You now own a sombrero.

But you burned water, David.

And a pink sock hat. It's pink, isn't it? Off-pink, though not quite magenta. I don't think I can wear it.

It...won't happen again?

I think you two should DEFINITELY have some time away from your cranky, yet extremely dashing and well-dressed translator.

I certainly didn't want you to feel as if you were being sent away.

In all sincerity, go have fun. I'm sure that I'll manage to keep out of trouble for the time being.

I owe you. Remind me to cook dinner for you when these cooking lessons pay off.

Why ever would you ditch your translator to venture to the gaststätte, hmm?
