I totally can't believe that uni is going to start soon. Seems like just yesterday that we graduated. I finally talked to Sophie about putting each other's names on the roommate form, and she said she'd like that. I think I'm gonna enjoy getting to know her better. I can't move, but I don't really need to. Who else climbs up to my window instead of coming to the door? I pillow my head on one arm and call out, "Come in, Jor."

"Kinda," I say, stretching my legs and then curling them up. "Glad to see you, though." I smile at him, hoping we'll all stay close even though some of us are at uni and some still in high school. "What've you been up to lately?"

I sit up, making the supreme effort for him. "What have I told you?" I say, giving him the Annoyed Older Sis look. "You can talk to me about anything." I cross my legs Indian-style and scrunch my damp hair with my fingers. "Maybe she just needs a little space. You know, with school starting and everything being different, sorta. Maybe she didn't really mean it like that."

Hm. Maybe this isn't all about J. I scoot closer, putting my feet down onto the floor and nudging him with my shoulder. "You know you're not gonna get rid of us that easily, right? Sophie and I signed up to room together, so you'll be seeing a lot of both of us, I'm sure."

I snicker. "That's hilarious. Does he wear eyeliner too and write songs about how much of a tortured soul he is?"

"Sounds extremely lame," I say, rolling my eyes. "Maybe you guys can get someone different. If not, then we can just laugh at him when we go to the shows." I smirk. Mocking can be fun.
