this god damn week could not have possibly been more unenjoyable. it included failing...in many areas, including school, driving, and generally in life. friday: party at denise's house? no. drinking is bad for lauren and only for lauren. starsky and hutch? no. its bad too, only for valerie and lauren. Marmalade cafe? that was ok. watching dvds

It's okay. One day your mom will have to come to terms with the fact that you're a lesbian! And that's all there is to it. As for cheer, eliminate the people who won't be here next year from yesterday's drama, and hopefully add some happy go-lucky amazingly flexible and tumbly and strong and cheerful people, and you get next year's squad. So no questioning of the activity which leeches on all of your free time anymore, because optimism creates smiles which creates happiness. And yes, it's not the other way around, happiness can create smiles, but usually smiles create happiness, because you have to convince yourself that nothing is the matter to feel that way. You cant just rely on the fact that nothing actually is the matter, because something will always be, so... ahem... GREY SKIES ARE GONNA CLEAR UP, PUT ON A HAPPY FACE, WIPE OFF THAT FROWN AND CHEER UP, PUT ON A HAPPY FACE, ANDDD SPREAD SUNSHINE ALL OVER THE PLACE, JUST.. PUT ON A HAPPY FACE!!!... sorry i belted
