oh what. D: I get claustrophobic quite quickly, so I'd probably be freaking out there D: aish, I hope this get's sorted out soon, because I really hope you will get well and finally sleep the night through...*hugs*
I get claustrophobic as well but told myself 'this has to be done' and kept my eyes closed until i got bored, haha, then decided to look around. Erg. Not the best idea but i kept myself distracted with the noise and counting. You do get a panic button in case of freak out but I'd probably be out of there much faster than they have the 'bed' slide out.
If they can figure out something to help me, even a little that would be great. So many illnesses though and all cause pain and sleep disturbances. Oh well, I'll just keep hoping for some good news! =^__^=
oh. D: well maybe thinking of some good song might help next time. though I usually end up humming and that is kind of embarrassing XDDD a panic button? woha...well I guess it's there for a reason...there are people with more serious claustrophobia ^^*
well, at least you are staying positive! I'm sure there will be better days coming n___n
:( I did that same thing (sans ultrasound) a couple of mornings ago - waking up in a ton of pain around 4am and not being able to go back to sleep. That is the worst. I've got a car accident bad hip too, and it just ached and ached that morning (well, I wasn't HIT. But my car accident I was a passenger and leaning forward. The seatbelt kept me from going through the windshield, but it also caused my posterierly tilted pelvis.) You have my sympathies. I hope you have some good days in between the painful ones. <3
Ack! That is horrible and scary! I'm sorry you wake up in pain too. It really is very frustrating. I do at least have a few good days here and there. Here's hoping you and I will have more. :) <3
Glad that corn is your friend. I am relieved to hear that your liver is just massive (extends into pelvis? this must mean you have enormous tolerance for toxins, alcohol and pain medication...wow..large liver is good). Another MRI sounds ghastly but at least it's the best way to find out if something is wrong. I would freak out in a few minutes. How did you survive 45min? Nightmare. Well you suffered through the ultrasound (yeah it is amazing how much they hurt and that's when everything is normal) so now, go ask your five Shamen to heal your pain. Clearly they were all on break at 4AM. Make sure they work in shifts so that at least one is on duty at all times!
Yes, huuuge! I found it so odd that they were looking so low on my torso at my liver but it made sense when they told me that it extended into my pelvis. It would explain my tolerance to all you mentioned.
You do get a panic button in case you have to get out of the MRI tube but the table moves out so slowly. I'd just get out of there myself. Haha. I just kept myself distracted with the loud sounds and counting.
I was surprised at just how much the ultrasound hurt. Thanks goodness that is over with.
Ah yes, the Shamen. They just had a snack so will be resting and easy to catch and cuddle. *grin* I'll mention shift work to them. I can see Crimson giving me a 'look' for even mentioning that. :P
