So many things happened today!

Woke up earlier than usual to go to the Immigration Bureau in Shinagawa. I reached there at 9:10 (opens at 9) and there were already 30+ people waiting in line...

07:50 Stormy skies near where I stay.

08:01 A patch of green!

08:19 View from Yoyogi Park.

11:16 Shinagawa Station.

11:45 Harajuku grey skies.

Every Tuesday, we have catered lunch; today was one of the boss's friends, a lady called Nakamura Yuu who has travelled around the world looking for recipes... or something like that. Wasn't listening, was too busy looking at the wonderful food! :9 There was VENISON - and WOW, I have never tasted deer meat as tender as that before; that almost literal melt-in-your-mouth softness.

The stuff underneath is called "couscous"! What a cute name! (・O・)

From the front : herb salad with oats, almonds, walnuts and a sweetish sauce; tomato-based meat sauce over carrots, onions, turnips; some leafy veg and squid; roasted sweet potato and carrots; Arabian style croquettes.

There were two other guests (also boss's friends?) and they brought CAKE!♥

Had an excuse to watch snippets of Sherlock with Japanese subtitles. XD

Worked on some translations (I am very behind time on this...) before heading back. Bought groceries since I'm trying to lessen my cost of living by cooking as many meals as possible... Made stew(?) with the leftover mushrooms from last week's catering, half a cabbage, carrot, potatoes, onion, chicken fillet and a can of clam chowder thrown into the rice cooker. XD Had a quick shower, then switched on computer, connected the my handphone's pocket wifi

and thankfully still managed to get in before the servers filled up! ^O^

(I'm in Bicchu no Kuni, it's more picturesque XD)

Welcome to sword boy hell, indeed.

life is good, life in japan, food, tourabu
