I love that Bright Eyes quote and I've been meaning to see and read "...pearl earring."

I immensely enjoyed that movie. (Colin Firth was incredibly distracting but I think i retained enough senses to have an educated opinion.)

Yes, tis a good movie. I rather liked how every scene looked like a Vermeer painting. That was what I paid attention to when I wasn't distracted by Colin Firth, of course ;-)

love that movie.... great piece of artwork. it's great to have movies about artwork because you never really know what the artist was thinking or the subject was going through when it was created.... i just had a conversation with my friend tonight about the movie pollock. i never saw it but she told me about it and how he disrespected his wife and she said she can't look at his artwork anymore. interesting
