Does anyone mind me asking (if anyone still lives in Manchester) how expensive their accomodation is. I'm apparently expected to find somewhere for £273 pcm.
I can apparently take about £265 of this from my current wages (which, from experience, is actually quite fair), meaning I'll get pretty much no money, which is a shame.

£80 pw for a 1-bedroom studenty flat (seperate bedroom and lounge)
£550 pcm for a 3-bed house (very close to Longsight), though rent went up twice to £650 (I think) after I moved out.
£650 pcm for a brand new fully furnished 2-bed apartment in Fallowfield.
So, for £273 nowadays you can probably afford half of a bedsit, or a room in a cockroach-infested house shaere.
