Therefore I smell.
Haha. Nt Rly xD
I've forgotten what I was gonna say now... oh yeah, speculation on Rose n stuff.
So, it's definately gonna be Freema Agyeman. How do you pronounce her second name? Aggie-man? :/ - but she's not gonna make an appearance until series 3. I suppose he picks her up in the first episode. RTD said that he's got a 'surprise in store' for the Christmas Special. Jack, anyone? Maybe he meets this 'Martha' in the first episode or something, and takes her along with them. I'm not convinced the Doctor's aching heart(s) will have healed enough by then, haha.
What've we got so far from the clip-a-days for Doomsday?
MONDAY
Much fighting between humans and cybermen on bridge. Like we didn't know that was gonna happen anyway.
TUESDAY
Rose staring a Dalek in the eye(piece) and saying,
"If these are gonna be my last words, then you're gonna listen. I met the Emperor - the God of all Daleks... and I destroyed him."
She looks pretty damn pleased with herself about that too. She's not supposed to remember that, though. I hope that the Doctor and Rose discuss this in the next episode, and that it wasn't an off-screen copout. Then the Dalek is like, "YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!". But they wouldn't have showed the moment of Rose's death in the snippets, so I'm guessing she wriggles her way out of that situation.
WEDNESDAY
Snippet of a conversation between the Doctor and the Daleks, in different places... Rose is with the Daleks, and the Doctor, with Jackie, is listening to the proceedings with... a pen.
DALEK: "We must protect the Genesis Arch."
DOCTOR: "The Genesis Arch?"
Huzzah. Yes, we must. I don't even know what a Geneis Arch is. Wasn't there a series of episodes called 'The Genesis of the Daleks'? That has the word 'Genesis' and 'Daleks' in it. Any connection? I haven't seen it.
So basically, my ideas for Rose's departure are as follows;
1. The programme synopsis on Sky, it says something along the lines of 'while everyone has it out with the daleks and the cybermen, the Doctor is faced with an even bigger dilema'. Well, it's obviously gonna be a choice between Rose and the world, isn't it? I think that while the Doctor is dragging his feet about whatever the decision is, Rose will just do it, sacrificing herself and letting him off the hook.
2. In order to close those cracks, the void ship will need to be flown back across Teh Void. Manually. By say... oo... Rose? ;) That'd mean her death would be ambiguous and it'd be open for her to come back, like Billie and RTD are so heavily hinting. I'm not sure that she'll end up in the other universe, because that's hardly dying, is it? The Doctor said it was impossible to go there, but it happened twice in a short space of time. However, ending up in the void is pretty much as good as dead.
They're the ideas are can articulate.
Oh, and a photo I saw in the TV listings but can't scan in because my scanner ist kaput, showed the Doctor and Rose facing one another - she looked serious, he looked a bit dazed. She was holding his glasses. I like to think she just took them off him. Well, it looks like a potential shippery moment, anyway.
Basically, I just hope that she doesn't get;
a) exterminated
b) deleted
c) upgraded
How boring would that be? EVERYONE gets exterminated, deleted or upgraded. It's not exactly the 'stunning exit' RTD promised. I'm as optimistic as I can be.
