In activist jargon, I'd definitely say there is such a thing as 'beauty privilege'.
However, it's also probably a bit more complicated than that, especially for women. Being conventionally beautiful can come with perks but it also can attract a lot of the wrong sort of attention and harassment.
beauty is a privilege. our life does not promise we'll always look our best, and many professions require you to keep a certain appearance which may or may not conform to your own personal desires.
we don't have a right to be beautiful. there are several things that can happen to you which will leave you permanently disfigured, and even if it can be corrected through surgery, there is cost to consider. beauty can be very expensive.
