(no subject)
So. . . I saw AFI last night.
Tim and I had a little trouble and got there when the doors opened. I wasn't happy, but I was still extremely close to the stage.
Nightmare of You. Eh, they were tolerable and happy looking. In the Bathroom is Where I Want You, or whatever it's called, made me laugh.
Dillinger Escape Plan. They were pretty good. The lead singer would climb up on the amps and stuff. The pit started to get rough. I laughed because Tim held back the whole crowd, making me the only person with any room. I literally had a circle of space around me.
AFI<3 was everything I could ask for and more. I waited three years for them to come back and they were right in front of me. I didn't have the best view, due to being pushed back a few feet and to being of average height, but I saw enough. I love his facial expressions. Davey climbed into the crowd and everyone, of course, rushed to touch him. They were all so obsessed with touching him that he fell. Idiots, they dropped the poor man :(
They played so many good songs. This Time Imperfect. I was in heaven. I had so much energy and was so happy. I feel bad for those around me, lol. I need to see them again, soon. I feel like I'm leaving so much out.
I've always loved afi, there was never any doubt about that, but last night something just clicked. I was just so happy. This is a band I would travel miles for, which I may just do soon. I just felt so right. I can't really describe how I feel, how afi's music makes me feel. Oh, they make me smile so.
Wow. I'm such a loser.
