Awesome pics, and congrats on re-beating the beast! I sure as hell agree with you. That trail . . . . god fucking damn. I swear I cried at least half that trail. 1 step . . . . . *wheeeeeze* 2 step . . . . .*PUFFER!!!!* lol, c'mon, anyone with asthma, back me up here. a what, 16km, 8 hour hike with outta control asthma = torturous long death. Congrrats team medicore, perhaps, since you succeeded, you should change your name to something filled with more strength and good will.
I know what you mean about underestimating yourself. I think a lot of people avoid those kinds of things where they have to push themselves to the limit, but it's really worth it because afterwards you feel like you can do anything. It was the same thing with my black belt test, I'm not afraid of any sort of physical excersion any more and I can push myself a lot harder. I'm glad you guys go so much out of it.
yeah. I wouldn't give that experience up for anything, except for the same experience with a fog-less summit :) And that was just before i decided to take that orgasmic leak off of the mountain. Oh man... anyways! I like those photos I took. Now we gotta go again soon. Maybe a few weeks after we recover completely. Or beginning of September, just before school comes back into session, for my sake anyways.
