And it looks like blood, too. I hear that Bush had been thinking of using a similar logo in his campaign, but it was under trademark at the time. :P

Yeah the bloodiness is disturbing but I can't say I'd like it much better if the paint were, say, green. Or purple.

My Dad used to work for Sherwin Williams for years in San Leandro, CA.

He told me that that years ago, the company changed their logo and got rid of the "Cover The Earth" premise because people thought that the red paint represented Communisum, and THAT was covering the Earth!

They spent millions of dollars changing to just the text logo, and eventually went back to it because they were too identified with it.

What an unusual logo to be stuck with!
