Alright, everyone. I'm going to ask for your honest input here. Okay, here's the thing: A friend of mine (pretty much one of the sweetest girls around the area of Gainesville) is crushing pretty badly right now. And this guy that she likes, he just doesn't see it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me to talk this guy into falling in love

Even though this sounds mean and bitter, don't try to make someone fall in love with you/her. it doesn't work and just makes everyone involved miserable.

you've got to pull a "much ado about nothing" yeah, the shakespeare play. in the play, these two people who hate eachother are tricked into love. claudio, prince john and some old guy go into the garden and talk really loudy about benedick, who is hiding from them, they know he's there, and how the woman he hates, beatrice, likes him. they do the same to beatrice about benedick. even though they hated eachother, the thought that the other liked him or her made them fall in love for real.

so just, i guess, talk to this guy and talk about your friend to him and say how lovely she is and whatever else it is that you say. i'm sure you can figure that out.

another way to take is to be sincere about it. don't try to trick him into it. just let him know that she likes him and maybe set up a date with the two of them. then it's up to the two of them to see if they like eachother.

I'd say to the girl, to be herself and try to talk to him more. Guys are so thick headed, if you aren't straight forward with them, they'll never know you like them. of course, you can always have a friend talk to the guy for them or you can give little hints and he might take them.

I suggest to her that she should maybe have lunch with the guy or a study date.
