(no subject)
Well hello, lj, it's been a while.
since I last posted:
- had a fantastic weekend at the awesome pensnest's house, complete with cat and beautiful garden and jam on toast. I'd forgotten the supreme rightness of jam on white toast. Also fun times, fun people. And nopseud rediscovering the clarinet.
- went to a wedding, after weeks of outfit planning. The last wedding I went to was years ago, and I was a bridesmaid. I'm not well practiced at the whole dressing up thing. Still, everything came together at the end and it was really sweet and I'm getting on well with M's friends which is a plus.
- had an awesome weekend at the fantastic nopseud's house, with UK popslashers and surprise! saba1789 and rikes. And gingerbread boybanders, and a very impressive we-love-you-JM cake. (I keep thinking, omg, I'm going to miss trumpeterofdoom so much! And then I remember she'll still be on the internet. Thank the gods for internet!)
- got kittens. Well, I didn't get kittens. I'm not allowed kittens in the flat. But M got kittens, or rather he got a kitten and his temporary housemate got the other one, which is staying at M's house until the housemate and his girlfriend get a place of their own. So kittens! We went back to his house in our lunchbreak just for extra kitten playtime.
- not strictly since the last time I posted, but since I never finished my recaps of the crazy BSB trip (in which I touched Howie! And also the others!) here is my one BSB concert picture:
