Housing search = COMPLETE. Ann and I signed a lease yesterday on an awesome apartment on South Lamar, right across from the Drafthouse. Now we can get back to wedding planning and job searching. On that front, when I checked Craigslist last night there were two posts that are right up my alley. Makin progress, seems like! 

So I finished a resume for another position a bit ago, and thought "I should Google myself, see what comes up- maybe make sure my Facebook/Myspace/etc pages aren't showing anything too incriminating".

HOLY SHIT I just finished this game, and there should be a LAW against making games this good, yet this abjectly terrifying. I'm not normally one for horror games, but the game itself is so damned good I just couldn't put it down.

w00t w00t!  Ok, I got the car-buying thing done today- after searching high and low, and researching the fuck out of used Civics, I decided to spend the extra grand and just get a new one. I've got an interview for a contract job as the forums admin at "an Electronic Arts" studio in Austin, this Thursday. Seeing as how there are only two EA studios in Austin, one of which is Bioware and the other of which is "EA Casual" (think popcap-type games), I'm thinking it's probably Bioware- I mean, I doubt there's a big forum community for EA ( Read more... )
