Living it up in the real world.

So basically the graphic card on my main computer decided about a week ago, that it was a good time to die. Unfortunately, at the time of my graphic card's untimely death, I lacked the necessary funds to replace my dearly beloved graphic card. Without the proper means to play such video games as Final Fantasy, I found myself forced to venture out ( Read more... )

ok first thing is first... alien vs predator is NOT laughable >O Aliens do zerg, but have showed that they do have some cunning. (I read some of the books... yaya supergeek and shit) They also are sneaky and can see the Predators while they are stealthed which gives them alot more of an advantage than humans.

ok now to this "guy"... You said he gets mad at you if you get to the car before him... hmmm... sounds like that could turn into abuse once he "has" you. Better stay away.

Now... to the most important part >O Dulcea, I don't want you to quit the game. I have just met you, and to be honest... I really like you. Not like, "hey let's visit each other IRL", or "hey let's cyber!" But you are so much fun to talk to. It's about the only time I actually pay attention to what's being said in /linkshell. Mostly cause I am a movie whore, and you "seem" to know something of them. heh. Anyway please don't quit FFXI... take a break, play only on weekends.. whatever, but don't quit. plus, Linkin has a crush on you :x

Well, I've actually been tempted to read some of the Alien/Predator/Alien vs. Predator novels, to be honest. So I guess that makes you and me both supergeeks, your more so because you have already read some. So it sounds like you were kind of rooting for Alien. In it's own right, Alien is /awesome/ and probably one of my favorite movies of all time. However, in all sincerity, I just can't really see Alien taking out Predator in a fair fight.

As for this guy being abusive...well it's not really like he gets 'mad', more of a..."omg, i was gonna get the door" teasing sort of thing. but maybe x.x

As for quitting, the decision is still in the works. I mean, I am really torn, because one the the major factors that keeps me playing FF is definately the people in the game. That would be, imo, the hardest thing to leave behind.

And yes...I am a movie whore as well, not nearly as bad as I used to be though. I blame it partially on having a Family Video located very close to my house. Two movies for a dollar is the shit!

Ok.. now I need to repost b/c I have to clear a few things up. =P ... wait actually, I'll acknowledge the supergeek I am, and refrain from becoming something even worse by arguing the alien/predator fight O.O

I was being sarcastic about that ukranian guy and maybe a little jealous, lol.

whaddaya mean you wanna quit? once you get in, you can't get out. We're talking centuries of traditions here. even death doesn't release you from service. we're talking loyalty beyond the grave here. geez kids nowadays.

Also, as far as this boy is concerned, it is very important for him to prove his love for you. Use the phrase "If you love me you'll do this for me..." liberally in your conversation with him.

Also, if he starts espousing the virtues of Communism or if he measures stuff using the metric system, you should run away as fast as you can and contact your local FBI office.

Well....he is a lab technician...so OMG! I do think they use the metric system for measuring things....and I think I do recall him casually sputtering off something of his deep rooted passion for the communist way of life. I'm in way over my head on this one!

Well don't say we didn't try to warn you! Them commies' idea of a good time is a stint in the labor brigades at the local gulag and a romantic stroll = holding hands while doing a Death March.
