My mother came home with McDonalds for herself and a diet book for me. A graduation gift, she said.
I'm not surprised, but it doesn't make it hurt any less.
For the record, I've lost 20 pounds this semester simply as a result of sheer self-control. For the record, I'm officially underweight. But my mother seems keen to overlook this fact--and that ( Read more... )

Your mom is obviously the inspiration for you to furthur emaciate yourself, don't give in to that bullshit.

This brings an interesting question up though. What tastes better, McDonald's or a "diet" book? I'd say chemically flavored pages would.
