Heh... thanks.

The North-APP similarity wasn't what i was aiming for originally, as obviously we've always had a live performance side, and for years i hoped we'd lock down to a full and solid lineup (we came very close for a couple of years there).

However, the musical diversity and strong-production emphasis was always intended, and i think my APP roots had something to do with that. In the musical and life events leading up to and following the record release, it also became apparent that focusing on recording, while keeping a lighter and more fluid live performance aspect going, was probably going to be the future of North.

That is very sad news indeed. Eric certainly changed the world of music for the better.

Definitely. He was always something of a "behind the scenes" guy, but he was quietly moving mountains -- at least for me.
