I've wondered if it's the inevitable fate of anyone outliving their loved ones, or if technology can change it. When I think about older people who play WoW for example, it makes me wonder if things like MMORPGs make people less lonely in their golden years.

Then again, if I was 85 and fed up with the BS of the world, I might not have the patience for Barrens Chat.
