I don't know if you are or how strict shomer kashrut you are, but FYI: not to rain on your parade, but the pearls in boba/bubble tea are very very not kosher, because they contain animal gelatin. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :(
Thanks for the info! I'm only really strict about kashrut during pesach. The rest of the year, I buy kosher food at the grocery store (except for cheese which is ridiculously expensive if it's kosher, and spicy asian noodles which are unkosher but really tasty!), but am not shomer kashrut outside of my home. However, I do try to avoid food that's really obviously not kosher (such as food that's had contact with bacon fat) so hmmm.... maybe I can get honeydew milk tea without the boba... that probably would also keep me from going insane and turning to the dark side!
