I am exhausted from this whole weekend. They had the annual Arts in the Hearts festival again and the host country this year was...Philippines! *woot* So I came out all 3 days of the festival to support my friends who were performing dances. The festival seem to have upgraded this year with a big and better stage, and the Philippines food booth

I've done the Spanish Jota before! I wonder how the Filipino version goes. Is there lots of jumping up high? The costumes look like they'd be very difficult to jump in... so maybe it's a different dance with the same name that I'm thinking of. Hmmm...
[I forgot to tell you... The other day I had to go into the storage area in the basement, and before I went down there, my mother said "Oh, be careful because there's a mattress in there. If you move it, make sure you don't crush the three kings I have behind them." My automatic thought was "Why isn't she pronouncing it correctly? It's 'Trickings'!!" XD]

Hmm, not alot of jumping from what I've seen. The skirts are suppose to swish up or something but I think my friends dumbed the dance down, it's not like they're professionals. :P hehe
LoL "trickings" Man, my mom said some funky dialogues this past weekend, I forgot to make note of them. You'll just be like "..." after listening to her. XD
