This has definitely been a depressing past few days. On Wednesday, Renata's parents took her to a BOARDING SCHOOL in freaking VIRGINIA. Where they have to live in tents. I'm sorry. That totally sucks. And you're right about her probably feeling worse. I know from here that you 2 were close, and that was a horrible thing to happen to the both of you. Send her lots of letters?

I've sent her a letter every day. We're thinking since her dad (who lives in Mexico and just found out about this whole thing) has partial custody over her, he might be able to get her out of there. What happens next, we're not sure. I miss her almost as much as I love her.
