Boys, and their movies.

Last night Chris and Birdy went out to pick up videos while I cooked dinner and silly amounts of White Rum.

They came back with the typical action packed movies. And a girly film; 'with a twist', as Birdy stated - the opening scene with a woman going to a drycleaning place with a dodgy stain on her dress trying to explain her self. (The Sweetest Read more... )

Chris from Melbourne is here and I haven't been online much because of this. Also, Telstra has been being a complete ass so when I've tried to logg on it's kicked me off almost automatically.

Will be online more, as of Sunday.

Also, want to chat with you and Shellfish about the buyings of Gus' present.

*hugs you hugs you*

Full Metal Jacket is a bit of a cultural flick, be glad that you saw it. I saw it when I was 15 (or so) and I also thought it was a very wrong flick, but could see its underlying significance.

It is the source of such soundbites as:
"Mee so horny. Me love you long time"
"This is my rifle, there are many like it, but this one is mine."

Sort of like a lesser-known Apocolypse Now.

Beyond good and evil is AWESOME.

I bought it for my ps2 the day it broke, so I've only been able to play it once. Sooo not happy!

Glad I've finally seen Full Metal Jacket, though I would rather have watched something bouncy or actiony that time.

A disturbing film, but definitely one that has to be watched.

You're so cool!
