That sucks. I'm sorry you didn't get it, but it's probably for the best. You'll find a better one. I know that sounds stupid and annoying and maybe even inaccurate, because I've been hearing similar things myself from people about something I'm going through, but even so, it's probably true

2. At starpolish.com there's a message board (velvet rope, the link's at the top) that has a "labor of love" section where people post entertainment jobs. Most are music related. You might find something you like, especially if you're willing to travel. Also, you could always post a thread about yourself, looking for something

Heh, do I have a choice? Of course I have to keep going. If I don't go to Jersey, then I would gladly do that promo in Sarasota. And, I think at this point, I would do almost any job.

Anywhere in Cape May County, really. The convention center is smack-dab in the middle of Wildwood, along the boardwalk and the beach and everything. Just south of the amusement parks. A lot of people who work there come down from like Atlantic County, so you've some options.
