I should have been studying art history. Instead, I sat down at the piano and wrote down some
Look how it is splits into sections at the side. Here is how they are played (underlines are words I couldn't figure out)
INTRO
VERSE p.1
There is a ___ under the pavement wherever you happen to walk
Repeat VERSE p.1
You wake up at night and see the light in the basement through the crack in the floor
VERSE p.2
Broken shelves, lack of storage, mouldy ceiling, a ghost in the shower, crimson dust, mystery, things that come from a source unknown
VERSE p.1
Did you know that a river is under the pavement on which you happen to walk
Repeat VERSE p.1
When you wake up at night and see the light in the basement go and slip through that crack in the floor
VERSE p.2
It’s the crack that you fall once in a lifetime. It’s the gate. It’s the gate to which the dreams enter
CHORUS and the OUTRO
Underworld, underworld: that’s where you fall. Underworld, underworld: That’s where you rise from.

So this is a very messy and unfinished verion of Penzance that I've made up at random points over the past month or 2. It's not quite accurate (I was doing some of it out of my head just with what sounded right), but its a good sort of basis and its easy to figure out the whole piece from what I've got here if you tweak it a bit.

ok... so i know I said I'd post pumpkin night pics, but 1) I am too lazy right now, and 2) none of the ones people have taken are very good. Perhaps I shall post some later if I find some better ones that someone is hiding away.
