HELP!!

Well I'm confused. Can anyone help me out?
At narnia_elite I've made it so that anyone can join and become a member, but I have to grant them posting access. The thing is, what is the difference between "watching" a community and being a member of it? Example: ronniekins77 and a few others have been granted posting access by me yet they dpn't appear to be members yet. On

Well, in the rules you said to 'friend' the community, so I did. In order to be a member of the community, I have to 'join' it. Normally in elite icon communities, you aren't supposed to join it unless you are accepted & then the mod gives you the invite to join. But if you've all ready given me posting access, then you might have invited me. I'll have to go check.

This probably makes no sense, but I'll be back.

So you mean it doesn't tell you if someone has invited you to join something? GUH. Okay, so when someone is accepted, should I also say "I'm inviting you to join the community, please accept and then you can post" or something? Hmm. :/

Okay, here I am to clarify (hopefully). The difference between watching a community and being a member is this. If you watch a community, you can see all the entries of it on your friends page. You cannot post unless you are a member - which is you clicking the 'join community' button or accepting an invite to join from the mod.

The way it normally works with elite icon comms is that you friend (i.e. 'watch') the community, but you are not allowed to join it (and thus gain posting access) unless the mod sends you an invite. Which you did, and I just accepted.

I would just recommend putting it in the rules not to join the community until you get an invite from the mod (which is you!) And, when you're accepting the people who have applied & have good icons, tell them to check their invites.
