Title: untitled
Book: Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott
Word: "sea"
Count: 100
Rating: R
Character: Susan

There is the way that Neela's fingers dip into her, like birds dip in the ocean to drink. There is the way that Neela's eyes watch, dark, like the sky watching, like a god at the beginning of the earth watching, curious. Mapping. This new terrain and this new human, and all of it hers and she can hardly believe, and she reaches down to the world to stroke it, and the birds reach down with her. There is this, and there is wet, and there is waves, and Susan is the sea being swallowed, bird by bird by bird.
