Why in the world is Duncan known as "Donut?"

ETA: Know any good Veronica Mars mood themes, particulary of the donut variety? :)

OMG, did anyone just see the ending? I am shocked. Totally shocked. Looks like Donut isn't as pretty as he seems... :(

The Duncan=Donut mystery I can solve for you.:)

In episode 103 "Meet John Smith" Duncan has a hallucination of Lilly in which she calls him Donut. Many call him that now in kind of insulting terms, but I always thought it was just a nickname Lilly had for Duncan.

Thank you! Funnily enough, I watched that last night and went, "Oh!" Of course, why Lilly calls him that is anyone's guess, but I like your theories. :) It's nice to solve a little VM mystery. Your icon rocks, btw!
