The girls left for Europe last night. Lindsey was able to pull some strings to ensure they had safe travel arrangements from the sun. Darla has decided to join them in a few weeks and wanted to spend some quality time with Lindsey. That made my asking if she and Lindsey cared if I spent a couple of days in New Orleans for Mardi Gras with Yuffie

I've been just fine, tite fille. I've missed you terribly. I was saddened when your mama decided it was best to take you away frome here. But looking back, knowing what I know now, seeing what a fine boy you've grown to be. I think it's all for the best. My son would have done his damndest to play with your life, not that he isn't now. But you had this time to become you, and he'll have a damn harder time getting his hooks in you now.

I don't talk to Mom much anymore. She moved to Florida and has her own life. Not sure what I could say to her now. Guess I understand why she kept the secret from me, but I don't understand why she cut you out of my life.
