Everything surrounding the Pope's death feels like a countdown to me. As though people are looking forward to it. I'm not catholic so it is very possible I have misinterpreted things but thats what it feels like to me.

Yeah so the pope is dead... I heard it first from _eve_libertine. Even though she reported it early.

Many followed this story glued to the TV. They were sad because of such emotional attachment connected to that man (the pope, el papa, that religious figure, that political figure). Even at his death the media seemed surprised as if they prayed for John Paul II to live longer.

The man was 84 for crying out loud! I'm surprised he didn't die sooner. We all die. To live forever would be a curse!
