Bandwidth Exceeded

Dec 08, 2004 19:07

Sorry, but my bandwidth has exceeded and it's only December 8th, meaning that my bandwidth won't be resetted until the 26th. This really sucks, but I don't want to go through the trouble of uploading them onto another host because I'll most likely exceed bandwidth again, but we'll see. I might upgrade to Photobucket Premium, but we'll just see ( Read more... )

That's ok. My bandwith exceeded a little while back and I did the 3 months for $9 at Photobucket. Gave me a chance to see if I really wanted Premium without the whole $25 payment.

How was the premium thing for you? Did you like it?

Yeah I love it! I never have to worry about running out of bandwidth. I can post pretty much whatever I want, including LJ banners and it's no big deal. I like the freedom. I can also save a lot more into the account. It's worth the money for me. It actually works out to only $2 a month if you do yearly or $3 a month if you do quarterly which is what I'm doing right now.

By the way I love your LJ name! It's after Lord of the Rings right? Arwen? I adore her. Those are my favorite movies. My journal has a banner/header with her and I'm working on an Arwen mood theme. I was lucky enough to get the evenstar necklace as an early Christmas present. It so so pretty. Anyway love the name! :D

Thanks for the premium input! It really means a lot to hear the feedback from a fellow LJer.

And yes, my username is from Arwen's name... hehe, you are very lucky to get the evenstar necklace, last time I checked the price (months ago), it was a bit pricey. x_X;

have you thought about purchasing server space? it's more bang for your buck.

Yeah, I've considered it long before I even started this journal, but I wouldn't be surprised if I exceeded my bandwidth with an actual paid host as well (plus, if you exceed bandwidth on an actual paid host plan, they'll charge you for using extra in most cases). =X

I do already have an account on a friend's domain, but I don't use it at all for icon purposes because I'd hate to somehow also use her bandwidth up! I doubt that I ever would, but it's always a possibility and one that I'm not willing to explore.

Thank you so much for your offer, but I'm afraid I'd have to decline. I'd much prefer if I went through the trouble myself. You're a darling; thanks again for the offer. :)
