We were here. The mansion. Angelus's mansion. I was about to go in, and face Buffy as a Vampire along with Angelus. I never went up against him, but I've heard horror stories. One of the worst vamps ever. And with B having Slayer training and strength suddenly getting vamped and having Vampire strength. There was no way this could go well

"Wesley!" I hissed as he followed Faith inside. Wonderful. An idiot Watcher. Just rush headlong into the danger. He'd last, what, a week, if that?
Faith had Buffy distracted. I thought, at least, until Buffy leaned in and kissed Xander. I closed my eyes, wincing in pain. I know I had Oz, but that didn't mean it made things any easier, watching Xander kiss Buffy, vampire or not.
"That's it. Xander's been my best friend for too long. You are not taking him, too, Buffy."
"Let's go, Oz, you lead. You're better at the stealth-sneaky thing."

And I blinked.
Or maybe I just stared. Could this guy be anymore delusional? The cross was a cross. Ooo, it burned. Look out vampires, beware. Scary religious symbol. Please and yawn, much? All I had to do was reach forward, using Xander as a sheild, though I really didn't need one, I took the cross right out of the moron's hand. Letting it momentarily burn my hand. Though it did take longer to start burning my flesh than most.
I think I'd know. I've seen it first hand, duh!
"Listen, Wesley..." Starting slowly and softly, I flung the cross back at him when good old reliable Willow came barking in. Oh, now smell that! Jealousy was also filtering into the mix of emotions. Aww, wasn't that cute? Wonder if Oz smelt it just as keenly as I did? "Hey, Willow!" My focus stayed on this Wesley freak, "No, no. See Wes, this is how it goes. You want Xander...well, we want someone." A trade. That didn't sound so wrong, now did it? "If you want this adorable little virgin, I want one in turn for his safety." Safety that wouldn't ( ... )

I came at him, ready to fight, but keeping my eye on everyone else. No. Don't get distracted. You have to distract Buffy and Angelus so that they can get Xander out. Concentrate Faith.
"So Faith, think you can tango with the big boys, do you?"
"Not really much for the dancing," I said as I came up at him, throwing my first punch.

Climbing back into my car, I got the brilliant idea to drive to Angel's mansion. Why? I don't know. Parking on the street in front, I heard .. fighting going on inside as I approached the front door. I paused and glanced inside to see the party that apparently I was missing.
I raised my brows. I was going to go with the guess that Angel didn't have his soul anymore. I didn't exactly want to join the fight, but .. well, I had a feeling I'd be dragged into it sooner than later.

I dragged Xander outside.
"Cordelia!!" I kept my voice down, not wanting to draw any more attention to us. "I'll explain later. We have to get Xander in the car. We have to get...get help." I gasped, the spell and taken a lot out of me. I could feel myself wobbling. I tried to catch my breath. "Faith...is fighting Angelus. Oz...werewolf....Buffy...fighting...Angelus has the new...guy....disaster."
I collapsed on the ground.

"Shutup Willow. For one second." Trying to help her up and grab Xander and wait, Oz was fighting Buffy?
"Why is Oz fighting Buffy and not Angelus??" I asked, about to freak out.
"Forget it. New guy?? Nevermind. Let's just get you two to the car." I said, once again helping Willow up. Ugh. This could get annoying fast. Willow AND Xander in the car with me? Great.
We needed a hospital.
