The things we find ourselves puzzling over again and again are lessons that the universe is trying to teach us. I'm sure many of us come back in different forms to try to learn the same lesson.
It's hard to get a fresh perspective on things that trouble you like this and seem to keep happening again and again.

I'm sure you'll learn the lesson when you're good and ready. :]

Hmmm strange in a coincidental way ... I had something of an "epiphany" a while back, which I blogged down but I don't know how to find it, regarding hmmm lessons and why we're here.

I thought maybe there wasn't a "meaning to life" except we were all placed here to find our paths. The act of discovering our paths and ourselves, the act of picking and walking our paths, and letting our paths mold us, paths and us, us and paths, like a close loop that keeps feeding back on itself; I thought that was what we're here to do.

Not so much seeking an external answer that would be the meaning of life, but maybe becoming the embodiment of that seeking / meaning of life, a cycle that improves us as we learn, and takes us further with each iteration so that not only do we evolve biologically, but evolve in a err metaphysical manner.
