Week 1 of 2

So I'm here in Sydney for a 2 week try-out, the first week just over. Another week to go. All would be good, except for my try-out, I'm working on stuff that is unrelated to the full-time position I applied for, so I'm not sure how this try-out works. As they say, it's a foot in, but where the foot leads remains to be seen

Hey. I'm trying to arrange something with DJC for this Friday. He suggested somewhere in Newtown which will be convenient for everyone, so I'm letting him decide on a place. If you're around the city or St Leonards, I wouldn't mind having drinks before Friday!

I can't on Friday because I've got a farewell for a friend. I work in the city and live in Redfern. What day do you leave? This week is kinda full but if you're leaving Sydney before next week we could go do happy hour drinks at Roof Bar on Wednesday?

My try-out ends this Friday so everything is up in the air after that. Will try to make it back to Melbourne by Fri or Sat for somebody's farewell. Roof Bar sounds like a place to check out, let's do Wednesday.
