This weekend was pretty good. I didn't really help Nat and Eli *pack*, per se, but I did help them downsize their clothing collection. With my judicious wit and harsh eye - there were arguments, much stubbornness, but luckily no tears, and after hauling 7 garbage bags full of their old clothing to the Goodwill today, I feel that my work is done

Spider on face? GAH. I like spiders, but I do not like them on my face when I am sleeping. Oh, no.

Yeah, I didn't like it so much either. This is how that whole "It is estimated that people swallow several spiders a year while sleeping" thing comes from. Luckily my lightning-fast ninja-like reflexes allowed me to wake up and smack the thing away. Probably killing it. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Yeah.

See, that's a blatant violation of the great Human-Spider Treaty of 1307, in which spiders are allowed to keep their lives if and only if they do not occupy the Red Zones (e.g. couches and faces).

That's one way in which my apartment is cool: when creatures crawl out from under my furniture, they're cute baby geckos rather than repulsive insects and arachnids.

The offer to pay you to help me weed through my ridiculous accumulation of clothing still stands. You could have your own show on TLC!

I think they already have a show like that. It has a cranky british ex pat and a carpenter that needs a haircut. Badly.

the ball isnt so much a ball as we were hoping it would be. D*C named it a "nightclub" and we arent even sure if we will have music yet because of money :-P
